Dog longevity is the science of longevity — understanding why ageing happens and how it can be counteracted to extend health and lifespan — applied specifically to dogs, in order to slow canine aging and give dogs longer, healthier lives.

Because a dog ages at a faster biological rate. A dog fewer years old than its owner can already be biologically older, which our work links to its lower level of IF1 protein.
